i watched this drama a few months before, and i absolutely loved it! at first i had nothing else to watch so i decided to just take a quick pick at whatever it is i find interesting to watch. and the painting of the drama caught my eye. as for the title of this drama, i think it means spring as in a new beginning for dal ja. i was never a fan of chae rim as i do admit, she looks kinda wierd at first, but i warmed up to her appearence and her natural and cool acting finally won over my heart. and i also loved the soundtrack! and of course, how could i not mention lee min gi? as taebong her love interest, he was absolutely perfect! i think i was smiling everytime he came on the screen. he pulled it off quite convincingly! and now, i think im gonna watch whatever drama he’ll be in, thats of course if its not a sappy love drama, im over those kind of drama’s. stairway to heaven was the last one haha. what attarcted me to tae bng was his cool attitude, and i loved it when he wasnt the type to let go off his love interest just coz he felt she was better off with another. i hate that old sacrifice kinda love. for me, fight for her if u want her or vice versa

Synopsis

‘Dalja’s Spring’ is the story of Dalja, a 33-year old single at a crossroad of whether to remain single or get married before she gets older. The drama aims to comically and candidly portray the reality and undying pursuit of romance of a thirty something single woman.

The love triangle of Dalja, Taebong and Gijoong brews conflicts over love versus marriage. Taebong, a hunk six years younger than Dalja, works as substitute dates and becomes Dalja’s fake boyfriend. Gijoong is the type who dreams of an ideal and rational courtship. The drama also highlights the life and work of women in their thirties through Dalja who is a talented managing director at a home shopping channel.

Actress Chae Rim plays ‘Oh Dalja’ while actor Lee Min-gi is ‘Taebong,’ who freelances as a substitute date and develops feelings for his last client Dalja. Lee Hyeon-woo will play ‘Yeom Gijoong’ and Gong Hyeong-jin is cast for ‘Shin Sedo,’ a free romantist and Dalja’s ex. Actress Lee Hye-young plays ‘Wi Seon-joo,’ a 33-year-old home shopping show host with a brilliant sense in dating.
